18ct White Gold, 3.97ct Aquamarine & Cadillac Diamond Ring

This 18ct white gold, aquamarine and diamond dress ring is set with a 3.97ct aquamarine, encased between two Cadillac diamonds, weighing 0.38ct each.

The band is set with 16 1.4mm round brilliant cut diamonds, with an additional two small tapers in the basket detail.

The total ring weight is 5.05 grams. 

Derived from the Latin aqua marina, or 'sea water', aquamarines were once believed to be a precious treasure from mermaids.

Princess Diana famously owned an emerald-cut aquamarine ring flanked with diamonds and set in yellow gold, which she wore during her 1997 visit to Sydney.
